- How to use the granite stones and cool marble blended with Swedish, Lomi, Acupressure massage strokes for a full body treatment.

NEW & EXCITING CRYSTAL STONE FACIAL WORKSHOP
Prepare to be amazed with this unique and dynamic facial that will have your clients booking in for more.Imagine a facial that not only gives your clients an incredible visible result but helps to balance their body, mind and soul through harmonising of the chakras with the diverse range of crystals used within the treatment.
A half day workshop will cover all aspects of use of crystals and their healing benefits to your client and to the therapist. Why we use heated & chilled stones and the therapeutic affect to your clients skin. Contra-indications and how to care for your stones is also covered. A full facial treatment with aspects of lymph drainage, acupressure and European facial techniques are taught using the crystals. Chakra balance techniques and how to apply this to your clients.
COURSE OUTLINE FOR CRYSTAL STONE FACIAL WORKSHOP
Pre-requisites: Basic skin science. Ability to perform face massage techniques.
Course Description:
· This course will cover theory related to thermotherapy and cryotherapy applications to the skin of the face and the benefits to the client.
· A complete facial treatment is taught using heated and chilled crystal stones combined with lymph drainage, acupressure and European facial techniques.
· Chakra balancing techniques using crystals to rebalance the chakras.
Student Learning Outcome:
· Demonstrate an understanding of how to use heated and chilled stones on the face.
· Demonstrate how to give a full facial treatment with heated and chilled stones.
· Describe how thermotherapy and cryotherapy work on the skin of the face.
· Prepare heated and chilled crystal for a full facial treatment.
· An understanding of what skin conditions will disallow this treatment for some clients.
· Demonstrate how to give a chakra balance with crystals.
General Course Objective:
To ensure the therapist is competent and confident to perform a facial treatment with heated and chilled crystal stones.
Practical Exam.

- This course will cover aspects of thermotherapy and how to apply the principles of only using heated stones within the massage.
- A complete 60 min treatment is taught. In this class you will learn how to do specialized massage techniques combined with heated stones.
- The proper placement of stones on the body which will result in deeper relaxation of your client.
COURSE OUTLINE FOR WARM STONE MASSAGE WORKSHOP
Pre-requisites: Basic anatomy and physiology. Understanding of massage terms and basic massage moves.
Course Description:
· This course will cover aspects of thermotherapy and how to apply the principles of only using heated stones within the massage.
· A complete 60 min treatment is taught. In this class you will learn how to do specialized massage techniques combined with heated stones.
· The proper placement of stones on the body which will result in deeper relaxation of your client.
Student Learning Outcome:
· Demonstrate an understanding of how Warm Stones work within a massage.
· Demonstrate how to give a Warm Stone massage.
· Describe how thermotherapy works to heal and decongest the body.
· Prepare Warm Stones for a full body Stone Treatment.
· Understand why some health or medical conditions of the client disallow them to have the treatment.
General Course Objective:
To ensure the therapist is competent and confident to perform a 60 minute Warm Stone Massage.
Written and Practical exam.
